** Now as a couponer, I have learned to be very flexible with products.  I use most laundry detergents even though for a lifetime I thought the only thing I could ever use was Tide.  And guess what?  My super sensitive skin is fine and my clothes are just as clean!  But even I have a few exceptions.  There are two hair colors I like- one being John Frieda.  And the ONLY conditioner I use now is John Frieda.  It is hands down the BEST conditioner I have ever used.  Silky soft and fabulous!

So this was a very exciting deal for me.  And worth posting to show that even with coupons, you can save a lot on your favorite products.

Free Disney Diapers Sample

Free Disney Diapers Sample via Costco.  You do NOT need to be a member- woo hoo!

I know y'all are sick of me saying this but if you don't have a personal need, please consider requesting such freebies to use as a donation to those in your community in need.  Offers like this make it crazy easy to make little donations.  And even a single diaper or single can of formula can make a big impact to a momma who needs a helping hand that week!

30 Free My Coke Rewards

Do you participate in My Coke Rewards?  If not, you totally should!  If you look on the bottle caps or multi-pack boxes of Coke products, you will find a code in the form of numbers and letters.  You simply enter that code into your account at My Coke Rewards and then you are able to spend those points on fun items.  You can buy all sorts of t-shirts but why on earth would you do that?  I save mine to get coupons for free Coke bottles and free 12-packs.

Today there are three coupons for 10 points each!  That's crazy unheard of!!  You can get a coupon for the Spicy McChicken Bites at McDonald's for just 40 points.  So if you add in a code from a 12-pack, you are there baby!

Try using these codes to earn 10 points each.  I have no idea when they will stop working so be aware that you might want to act fast.

Happy Treats To Share

I love gift giving.  But I think my favorite type of gift is a small, unexpected, happy treat.  A sursey.  Just because.

Last week I picked up several nail polish bottles from Rite Aid.  And put two in a little cellophane gift bag along with a cute nail file and my favorite lippy.  Tie it with a bow and treat a sweet girlfriend to a summer happy gift.

It costs next to nothing and takes as long as it takes you tie a quick bow.  But I promise it will not only bring your friends a little joy, but it will bring you a little joy too.

One of the most fun things about couponing is sharing our great deals and steals.

Have you given anyone a sursey lately?

Soft Scrub and Planters Nuts At Rite Aid

Last year I shopped at Rite Aid at least once a week.  At least.  This year, I have hardly shopped at drug stores at all.  I am just still so stocked up on things like medicines and laundry detergent.  I have no need to get more.  I will for sure lose my silver status from Rite Aid this year.  But I guess that's the beauty of couponing.  When you are totally stocked up, there is just no need to shop for more.  I want to make sure I never have an entire room full of my couponing finds.  I will not hoard chips and pasta and toilet paper, oh my!

The Soft Scrub was a great deal though.  As were the almonds.  The deal ends in a few hours so I won't bother with the details.  I promise to be back on my coupon blogging game this coming week.

Price Chopper Was A Disaster But Cherries And Chips Are On Sale

I had a horrible week at Price Chopper.  I just do not even have words to explain what happened at my regular store.  Or I do, but they are not nice.  Let's just say it involved me throwing down with the cashier and Front End manager who decided that when a coupon states "do not double" I should not get the double value.  Even though the computer doubled the coupon.  So they wanted to subtract what the computer did.  And even though I have it in writing from Price Chopper corporate that they do in fact double coupons.  Because the double comes from the store.  It is essentially a sale or price match.  And then there were coupons they just refused to take.  And catalinas too.  OMG it was a disaster.  And I ended up overpaying by a LOT.

Because of that and the lateness of the week, I will just show you the few things I thought were good deals this week.  For now, that's all I have to say about that.

Free Cortaid At CVS

I finally found Cortaid!

For those who have not yet been to CVS this week, make sure you scan your card at the magic red machine.  And my tip is to scan until it tells you "No More Coupons."  On Sunday I scanned, got coupons, scanned a second time, got coupons, scanned a third time, got one coupon and scanned a fourth time when I was told No More Coupons.  Yup...sometimes you get that many coupons.  Then again, a few weeks ago, I got zero coupons.  You just never know.

But the point is that most are reporting that CVS is giving them a coupon for FREE Cortaid up to $5.99 value.

It took me two days and two stores but I found it yesterday.  Yay!  This seems like a good product to have on hand during gardening season, just in case.
